I know it's been a while since I've last written, but life has been a whirlwind of activity lately over here in South East Asia. It's hard to believe that my adventures in Singapore are finally coming to a close. I'll be boarding a giant jet and headed back to the US on March 27, 2016. Sandy has my crate all ready complete with a new cozy bed to help me have a comfortable journey back to the states. She really thinks I'm special because she decorated my crate with all kinds of neat signs telling people who I am, who I belong to, and where I need to go (LAX!).
Sandy has been been super busy teaching, mentoring staff, and keeping up with all her other responsibilities. She created a really amazing program at EQUAL-ARK here in Singapore and the program has benefited over 600 youth-at-risk and special needs teenagers. It truly is a one of a kind creation that focuses on EAL/SEL and incorporating Core Values to help the students become well-rounded, successful young adults. I got to see riding, interactive vaulting, horsemanship, and horseplay in action.
My mom and I are looking forward to what lies ahead and to our next adventures in the USA. I get to stay with my friend Indy (a fellow canine & Aussie) while my mom teaches a couple of workshops and educational events upon our return. So, while mom is hard at work I will be hard at play with Indy chasing balls, catching frisbee's, and napping!
We hope that all of you are doing well and your programs are flourishing. Please be sure to check out the Events Calendar as we have all sorts of fun and educational events coming up.
Until Next Time!
